I grew up in Cincinnati, and as a youngster recognized the regional use of "Please?" in lieu of "pardon me" or as my aunt said "Huh?" when someone didn't hear what was said. Since then, words and word usage has been a consistent interest of mine(although my English grades didn't show it). With the influence of William F. Buckley's writings and his renowned vocabulary, I started collecting words. Co-workers spurred me to do the blog, and here it is.
